The Adityas

The Adityas are twelve specific embodiments of the Sun's universal love, drawn from the Srimad Bhagavatam and other Puranas. Each Aditya presides over a domain of life and governs seven companion beings — sages, serpents, warriors, alchemists, and nature spirits — for eighty-four beings in total.

Your birth chart activates a specific subset of these beings. They are not abstract archetypes or personality labels — they are named mythological characters with stories, psychological depth, and questions for you. The chart doesn't tell you what you are. It tells you who is running that part of your life.

Our presentation of the Adityas is informed by the teachings of Ernst Wilhelm, whose research into the Srimad Bhagavatam and classical Vedic sources is reintroducing the Aditya system to the modern era.
